NOTE: I’ve never had Office 2013, so I can’t say if there are any differences for that version, but I now have Office 2016 and the process is exactly the same, so it’s a good bet that it is for 2013 as well. Over the years, this has been one of the most popular T4L posts but now that 20 are more widely used, I’ve decided to spell out the steps for those versions in full. If you don’t see the Header and Footer tab on the top of the ribbon, go to View (menu bar) –> header and footer, click it, then click on the header and footer tab that appears – tons of H&F options appear there, and you can click the “different first page” box. The latest version for Mac, released late in 2015, is Mac 2016 (there were no new major versions between 20 for the Macintosh). When I started this series, Word for Mac 2011 was the latest version for the Macintosh, and Word for Windows 2013 for the PC.
